about Japan Association of Contemporary Reading Performers (Gendai Roudoku Kyokai)

In the pursuit of finding a new art form using sound and voice;
We have established the Japan Association of Contemporary Reading Performers for the following purpos

1.	Through the act of using our voice, we become aware of our physicality and re-discover the beauty in the Japanese language.
2.	To go beyond what was established by master reciter, and to study and spread a contemporary style of recitation.
3.	Actively collaborate with other fields of art such as music, art, and butoh dance in order to broaden the art form of vocal expression.
4.	In order to achieve the above goal, we provide the opportunities to study, teach and practice. We also aim to provide a critera where one's ability of recitation could be assessed objectively, providing an environment where one could develop their skill of expression.

We are currently engaged in the following activities. If there is anything we could be of assistance, please feel free to contact us.

・	Study and promotion of contemporary reading performance.
・	Training reading performers.
・	Provide opportunities for performance (performing space, internet live)
・	Delegate teachers.
・	Delegate volunteer reading performers.
・	Produce a performance using vocal expression and recordings.
・	Promotion of audio books.

We are currently looking for members and sponsors.

Our association is funded by membership fees, and donations from business organizations, cultural organization, patrons and private members. We would appreciate your support and contribution through becoming a member.

Regular Member	A Regular member will be given priorities and discounts when participating in workshops and seminars organized by the association. We will give a complimental copy of orignal CD produced by the association. Opportunity would be provided to participate in performance, live, programse, and other recordings organized by the association. There will be many other benefits will provided by the association. Annual Membership Fee: 10,000 (Membership Period: From April 1st to March 31 of the following year.)
Associate Member	Subscribers of E-zines would be automatically regarded as associate members and would be eligible to advanced bookings and other services. Annual Membership fee: free
Supporting Members	This membership is for business organization. We would support your activities through creating audio contentes, organizing and participating in seminars, providing complimentary tickets, advertising in our programs, and an other request. Annual Membership Fee 100,000 yen/share (The benefit will vary according to your share)
